You May Be Eligible for $8000 Paid Towards A BBO Business Analysis and Improvement Program

BBO has been accepted as an approved consultant under the Queensland Government’s Jobs Assist Program.

Queensland has moved towards a preventative approach to job losses, focussing on helping businesses to be resilient through job creation and economic growth. The government is providing assistance and support to help businesses to help themselves.

Support

Stage 1 provides up to $3,000 to an approved consultant to conduct an assessment of your complete business operation and develop an Action Plan to address all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This includes identifying an effective reporting process and selecting strategies and actions to support and improve the business.

Stage 2 provides up to $5,000 to guide and support you to implement the activities identified as immediate priority tasks in your Action Plan from Stage 1.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for funding through the Jobs Assist program, businesses must:

1. Be one of the following

Located within one of the following Priority Employment Areas:

  • Ipswich
  • Logan City
  • Southern Wide Bay Burnett
  • Bundaberg - Hervey Bay
  • Cairns
  • Caboolture - Sunshine Coast
  • Townsville - Thuringowa

OR

Fall within key sectors and be considered to be of critical or strategic importance to the State, region, industry or in a significant sectoral supply chain.

  • Aviation and aerospace
  • Defence
  • Biotechnology
  • Environmental and mining technologies and services
  • Information and communication technology
  • Marine
  • Therapeutic Medicines and Devices
  • Processed Food
  • Tourism
  • Alternative and Renewable Fuels
  • Aquaculture
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Wine
  • Fibre Composites
  • Liquified Natural Gas
  • Creative Industries

2. Employ 10 or more FTE employees

3. Have an established operating base in Queensland, and

4. Have an ABN number (Qld registered) and be registered for GST
