Better Business Outcomes (BBO) is a business coaching and consulting business based in Highfields (north of Toowoomba in Queensland). Founded in December 2006 by Mark and Melanie Jocumsen, BBO aims to become the leading business development organisation in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs Region.

Currently BBO offers three core services which are Business Analysis, Business Coaching and Copywriting. To complement this BBO offers consulting, marketing campaign management and DIY business development books and e-learning products.

Mark Jocumsen grew up in Highfields, just north of Toowoomba. He attended St Mary's College, where he was awarded Dux in 1991. After completing a Manufacturing and Materials engineering degree at University of Queensland with First Class Honours, he enjoyed a successful management consulting career with prestigious multi-nationals including Accenture and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC). He then moved back into industry, working for 6 years as a manager within Smorgon Steel. In 2006 he saw an opportunity to offer his big-business expertise to smaller regional enterprises and subsequently launched Better Business Outcomes in conjunction with his wife, Melanie.

Mark's focus within Better Business Outcomes is the delivery of ProfiTune Business Coaching Programs.

Melanie Jocumsen grew up on a cattle property outside Julia Creek and was first introduced to Toowoomba as a boarder at Glennie. After university she spent some years overseas working in London while traveling the world. On returning to Australia she spent 8 years as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting practice (now part of IBM) before contracting independently for 2 years. She is a qualified CPA.  Since launching Better Business Outcomes she has undertaken extensive training in the art of copywriting.

Melanie's focus within Better Business Outcomes is the delivery of dynamic and effective copy for Yellow Pages advertisements, sales letters, web sites and other direct marketing.
